Luminosity Gaming is thrilled to announce our entry into the Halo competitive scene with the signing of Brett "Naded" Leonard, Visal "eL TowN" Mohanan, Kevin "Eco" Smith, and Dan "Danoxide" Terlizzi.  The lineup will be competing in the upcoming Halo Championship Series Pro League in the Fall season.  The HCS saw one of the largest prize pools in console esports, with $2.5 Million on the line.  The newly formed team will be tested soon with matches set to start in the middle of September.

The team is led by veteran Halo player, and community favorite, Brett "Naded" Leonard.  Naded began his career in 2006 as a member of team Storm Ventures.  No stranger to podium finishes, Naded has yet to win a championship.  A feat he hopes to accomplish as apart of Luminosity Gaming.  Before joining Luminosity, he was apart of the OpTic Gaming Halo roster.  New York native, Visal "eL TowN" Mohanan is most known for his time on Team Allegiance where they dominated the Halo World Championship 2016 NA qualifier series.  They would go on to make the finals of the Halo World Championship, where they fell to CLG and placed 2nd.  He is also joined by another New York native, in Dan "Danoxide" Terlizzi.  Danoxide is most notably known for his time on teams Cloud9, Triggers Pound, and eLevate. Closing out the roster is Kevin "Eco" Smith, formerly known as "UnLegit".  Eco is coming over from Team Liquid and is eager to prove that he is a top player in the scene.

"We are extremely excited with the addition of our new Halo pro team.  Halo is one of the oldest game titles and we all remember being mesmerized playing the original Halo growing up.  Since then the game has developed with a passionate esports scene with millions in prize money.  We can't wait to watch the new team compete in the Halo Championship Series in the upcoming Fall season." ~ Management, Luminosity Gaming
